Mixed outing for Team Taylor horses at Salperton Horse Trials

I was at the beautiful Salperton Horse trials at the weekend Allercombe Ellie came 4th in the Advanced AI class. It’s Chico was entered into OI and I was really pleased with him he completed a super Double clear.

A new ride for me on the Sunday in the Novice class was Call me Maggie May who was placed 12th we had a super dressage mark of 29.1 but time in the SJ. pictured

Sadly some tough decisions were made this weekend as well, Merrywell Charlie Douglas – Charlie is going to re-join the hunting field having been quite the rising star on the eventing field.

KBIS Starlet “Doris” will retire from eventing, I just adore her, she is soo talented and awesome to ride, as this season told us on nearly all her outings that she’s just not so keen anymore!! So her owners have decided that she might fancy becoming a Mum, in July she’ll hopefully find a handsome stallion who takes her fancy!!!

So onwards and upwards.
