Lots of hopes raised for Hopetoun International (1) last event of an eventful June

So I headed to Hopetoun International (1), thankfully as it’s about 8 hours drive, I was really looking forward to this event it meant I’d be staying with my Dad and his wife Caroline which doesn’t happen very oftenwith my schedule so time to catch up! We’d also just had lessons with Charlotte DuJardin and I felt inspired to raise my gameandpush the horses to their full potential.
KBIS Briarlands Matilda was supurb in the CIC*** dressage to take the lead on 45.9 (lessons paid off!!) went clear SJ so all the pressure was on as we went into XC in the lead still but it wasn’t our day she hit a corner on XC scared herself & didn’t fancy the next fence.
Thistledown Poposki who was a little naughty in CIC** dressage but thanks to a double clear pulled it out of the bag to placed 6th on 54.2 {pictured thanks to Scotia McCombie}
Next two days would be WEG training at Addingtonwith Allercombe Ellie and I’m taking Orlando as he’s heading to Aachen mid July.
