11th & 12th at Festival of British Eventing Gatcombe Park

So the first weekend of august is at The Festival of British Eventing Gatcombe Park from Fri 1st Aug – Sun 3rd Aug 14.

It’s always a great event in the eventing calendar for both the competitor and spectator, I’d just had another set of lessons from Charlotte Dujardin, so I was determined with the dressage to impress!!

The fabulous KBIS Briarlands Matilda is on great form this month, our dressage is improving & we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the event and was pleased to finish in 11th place in The British Eventing Open Championship CIC*** . So next stop for Matilda is the Land Rover Burghley Horse trails in September where we are entered for the CCI4*.{ pictured photo thanks to Uptown Eventing}

Thistledown Poposki was entered in the The Equex China Advanced Class, I was over the moon with his dressage of 32.3 sadly had three rails in the sj, and I retired him XC, onwards to Somerford with the aim for Pops at Pau at the end of October.

CALL ME MAGGIE MAY was a star performed a stunning test to score 27.4, again sadly had three rails in the SJ, but thrilled she finished 12th in the The Martin Collins British Novice Championship.
